Rules specific to this 7-a-side tournament.
• Matches will be between 10 and 12 minutes centrally timed but the umpire’s whistle will start and end the match.
• No Short corners - instead there is a free hit to the attacking team taken from anywhere at least 2 meters from 'D'. The ball cannot go straight into the 'D' from the free hit, so no masks needed as it is simply a free hit
• **If a team does not have a GK they must play with 6 outfield players plus one other outfield player who cannot leave the 'D'. That player needs to have a different colour top to either team (for complete clarity the player cannot kick the ball).
• The 'D' will not be marked by a line but there will be flat markers on the ground to help decide its approximate position
• The main considerations are for safe play with the play being allowed to flow where possible taking into account the ages of the children.
