BHHC M4s 1-1 Woking M5s EH Mens Tier 4 Bowl
"The M4s won a slightly more onerous game against Surrey visitors Woking M5s. Quite a few good moves and chances were created by the home side, one of which was taken by Rollo Squire with a reverse shot. Woking held up and eventually equalised from a last minute penalty corner which was awarded after a comic lead up of events. Brighton won on penalty strokes 3-2.

Guildford W7s 3-2 BHHC W5s EH Womens Tier 4 Bowl
Kate Dawkins reports: "Twas several days before Christmas
When all through the club
No one was playing, they’d all gone to the pub
But all of a sudden, a train was departing
The 09:44 from Brighton, the party was starting
Transporting the Fearless Fives on their journey to where?
To the middle of Surrey, Guildford 7’s beware!
The team talk en route was about the formation
Fantasy Premier League, the topic, the main conversation
Alas we arrive, to a little station in the sticks
Ready to play a cup game, and win a bowl full of tricks
It was the warmest of days as the game pushed back
The umpires were strict, as our sticks cricked and cracked
With loads of half chances, we finally led
Half time couldn’t come sooner, a lot was said
The second half started at a high pace
Winning a flurry of short corners to finish the race
A goal by Postie, from one of our cheeky routines
Taking us 2-0 up, we were full of festive beans
After a lengthy delay, with their dodgy goal keeping kit
They get one back with an annoying hit
Backed into our own half, the pressure was on
They then get a flick and our lead is gone.
2 - 2 the score remained, as the game came to a close
But they get a short corner, which they disposed
Our heads held high, as we take the defeat
We remain optimistic, even though we were beat
As we drop out of a Bowl and on to a Plate
It’s Christmas time now, isn’t life great
Well played to Becky, winning player of the match
It was time to leave, we had a party train to catch."
