The RISE 8K Run For Women, which takes place along the Undercliff path at Saltdean on Sunday October 12 2025, is a special and unique event, that brings women together and celebrates strength, resilience and community.

The RISE 8K Run is in its 18th year and is a fundraiser to support the vital work that the charity RISE UK does in the community and beyond. RISE is a feminist, women-led and centred domestic violence and abuse charity that has worked for 30+ years to end all forms of violence and abuse against women, their families and those identifying as LGBT+.

Hundreds of women and girls will run along the beautiful and flat Undercliff path accompanied by stunning sea views and lively entertainment and Brighton & Hove Hockey Club members can join them. Female runners aged 15 and over are invited to enter to run or walk the 8k distance (limited entries are available). All proceeds go to the charity RISE UK in helping them with their vital work in the community.
