BHHC members can gain a free umpiring qualification from the England Hockey website via the following link:

The following dates are currently available to book online:
18, 23, 24, 25, 30 September 2025

If you complete the free course by the end of September and email the confirmation (to BHHC.disciplinelead@gmail.com) you will get one free match fee. Yes, you read that correctly, you get a free match just for completing a free online course!

For those that are already registered as an umpire with EH, you will get an extra match fee refunded when you've umpired your first match of the season (please liaise with the same email address).
