The Bournemouth 7s Festival - a five sport, 30,000 person sports and music festival on the South Coast - takes place on June 2-4, 2022 (the Queen’s Jubilee Bank Holiday) and might appeal to any Brighton & Hove members considering an end-of-season hockey tour.
For hockey the Festival offers a two-day mixed social seven-a-side cup and a two-day social ladies cup for sevens. The headline music acts include Ella Eyre and Example and the featured sports are hockey, rugby (men's and women's), netball and dodgeball.
Organisers of this established event say team entry early bird tickets are £60 per player, which includes participation in your chosen tournament, exclusive entry to the Players Party on the Thursday, as well as entry to the Festival on the Friday and Saturday.
To camp costs an additional £100 per player, for which you get three nights camping right next to the Festival arena, access to showers, toilets and food stalls solely for campers.
You can also buy VIP upgrades if you want access to the buzzing VIP Colourseum and more perks.
However, these early bird tickets will only stay at these prices until Tuesday November 30 so book soon to get the best price.
