Brighton & Hove's Joey Bryant and Alison Wheatley played their part in England's successes at their respective Four Nations Women's Masters Championships at the weekend.
Joey was in Swansea representing the Over-40s for her England debut, beating Scotland 4-0, Wales 3-1 and Ireland 4-1 to retain their Home Nations Championship crown. She will now play in Nottingham at the European Championships from June 30 to July 9.
Ali played in Glasgow representing the Over-55s, scoring a field goal in a 5-0 win over Wales and also beating Scotland 1-0 and Ireland 4-1. She will now play in the European Championships in Valencia, Spain from July 16 to 23.
Angela Farthing was part of the triumphant South East squad which won the Masters Over-50s regionals last month at Old Loughtonions Hockey Club." We won the tournament not conceding a goal against some strong teams," says Angela. "This is the second year I have had the privilege to play in this team which has so much depth to the squad, all contributing to an unbeaten performance. So proud of the team and such a fantastic experience."
Congratulations to all three BHHC players on their representative successes.
