Brighton & Hove Hockey Club is excited to bring back the club-wide Fantasy Premier League (FPL) competition for the 2026/27 football season after a successful first outing last year – and everyone is welcome to take part. Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just love a bit of healthy competition, this is a great way to get involved, have some fun, and help raise money for BHHC - and even if you know nothing about football, FPL have an auto-selector to get you set up and you'll still be within a chance!

How Fantasy Premier League Works
FPL is a free online game run by the Premier League, where you select your own team of real-life Premier League players. Each week, your players earn points based on their actual performances in matches – goals, assists, clean sheets, and more. You have a virtual budget to build your 15-player squad so you’ll need to balance star players with hidden gems to get the most out of your team, which you'll manage throughout the season, make transfers, pick captains, and try to outsmart the rest of the league.

In addition to the BHHC league prizes your FPL team is also entered into the official global Fantasy Premier League competition offering even bigger prizes, so whether you're gunning for glory within BHHC or aiming to beat millions of players worldwide, there's plenty to play for.

Open to: Everyone – members, friends, family, non-members and football fans of all levels

The league will be open to BHHC members and non-members, with a £6 entry fee per player (£5 loyalty price for those that played last year). Proceeds will be split 50/50 – half going directly to support the club, and half going into the prize fund - top prize last year was just shy of £80!

1st Place = 35%
2nd Place = 10%
2nd from Last = 5%

How to Join the BHHC FPL League
Purchase your entry and enter your email address using the product(s) here: https://www.brightonandhovehockeyclub.net/payments. You’ll be emailed within the following days with the league code and instructions on how to join. There's also a WhatsApp Community group chat alongside the league, with an invite link being sent out along with the league code.
