Brighton held goalless in Folkestone after travel dramas

Folkestone Optimist 1s 0
BHHC 1s 0

Bara Owen bursts into verse again and reports:

"Early start on Saturday,
driving away to Folkestone
Hopeful that win we may,
got crushed by a ring of phone.

Everyone was excited,
to have back our star,
That all quickly changed,
when she had a punctured car.

Kwik Fit wasn't quick,
Netball held the coach and sub,
so by a single finger click,
Bara almost ran away to the pub.

Coach has made it just in time,
as on the pitch we went,
at least we had a nice clear sky,
and were ready for the main event.

First half was chaotic a bit,
then we all calmed down,
we didn't score with a single hit,
but were running all around.

Better team we were,
but we didn't score.
Everyone played with care,
what's there to do more?

Folkestone's best player,
was definitely their goalie,
we made Sean go greyer,
smashing it like a guacamole.

It is all over now,
one point we brought home,
next week Old Georgies in town,
on the pitch will foam!

MoM - Nia
DoD - Lenny and Muff (left late)."
