As one of the country's larger clubs, Brighton and Hove Hockey Club has been invited to take part in the 2018 England Hockey player survey.
The sport's governing body welcomes thoughts and feedback from BHHC members, young and old, female and male, which it says can go a long way towards influencing the running of our club and enable England Hockey to work closer with clubs in order to help them keep improving.
Taking part in the survey is anonymous and the feedback should help enhance the results of the recent BHHC internal survey. It should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
And there is an incentive: the names of those that complete the survey will be entered into a draw to win one of 10 pairs of tickets for the Vitality Hockey Women's World Cup 2018 on Wednesday July 25, featuring England's second pool match against the United States.
England Hockey explains the benefits this feedback can have for a club. "This survey has been designed to help us further our insight around the individuals who play our sport. Within this survey we also ask the player to provide some feedback around their club experience. This is something that we know clubs have fed back on before about helping clubs improve their offer and receiving feedback from across the whole club from juniors to masters.
"Please help us share this survey (link below) with your members, we can then share this insight with you when the survey closes in June."
England Hockey says that "by submitting this form you agree that we may anonymise your feedback and share the results with clubs and Sport England. If you do not agree to this, please do not use this form. Children under 14 should complete this survey with a parent or guardian."
In order to be eligible for the prize draw England Hockey asks that BHHC provide at least 50 responses for meaningful feedback (our members have already started) and that you complete the final section and provide them with your contact information.
