Wear your BHHC shirt for 5km fun run - the perfect preparation says Andy Bromley

Calling all Brighton and Hove Hockey Club members - warm up for Club Day on Saturday September 7 by taking part in the last 'Parkrun Takeover' of the summer in Hove Park.

Organiser Andrew Bromley asks those interested in taking part in the 5km fun run to meet at Hove Park at 8.45am wearing their blue BHHC playing shirts. He is hoping to get 40 members taking part in the event, the last of four at which the club have been represented and noticed.

Over the summer, members have run in the Parkrun events on Hove seafront, in Preston Park and at the new East Brighton run, where the accompanying photograph was taken in August. The club has received a big shoutout from Parkrun organisers and helped raised our profile in the community.

"It's the perfect warm up for the club days starting at 10.30am," says Andy. "If you don't fancy running, please offer to support the Parkrun organisers;
