With more than 150 players, members and guests signed up for Brighton and Hove Hockey Club's annual dinner dance on Saturday May 4 at The Old Ship Hotel on Brighton seafront, a lively night of fun, prizes and entertainment is again guaranteed.

To whet your appetite further for the evening - which features a three-course meal with wine, the players of the year awards and a DJ to knock out some banging tunes to dance to later - the organisers have lined up some excellent raffle prizes and the chance for you to help choose the new design for the club's playing kit.

The raffle prizes on the night include:

  • Two tickets for Great Britain v Australia (men and women) in the FIH World Pro-League on June 6 at Lee Valley, London

  • Two tickets for Great Britain v New Zealand (men and women) in the FIH World Pro-League on June 23 at Twickenham Stadium, London

  • Prizes donated by FUEL Hockey, BHHC's new kit supplier, including a Kroto stick worth £250, a rucksack, shinpads, a glove and some grips

  • One half-price BHHC membership for next season

  • Bottles of wine

  • Signed copy of ‘Hockey in the Blood’ by ex-Olympic coach Gavin Featherstone

  • Set of glasses

  • Chilli growing kit

  • Set of garden lights

Those at the dinner dance will also have the chance to look at and vote on designs for the new BHHC playing shirts to be provided by FUEL Hockey from next season - so don't miss that.

A reminder from the organisers that the dinner dance invitation is 6.30 for 7.30pm on Saturday at the Old Ship Hotel on King's Road on Brighton seafront. See you there!
