Watch Six Nations rugby live at the BHHC clubhouse

By David Chappell

Enjoy the matches and have some fun with your teammates in the bar

The annual feast of rugby that is the Six Nations kicks off this weekend and you can enjoy the matches live at the clubhouse over a drink or two with your clubmates while supporting your country.

This year's championship is expected to be close-fought with the World Cup on the horizon later in the year and the experts reckon five of the nations have a genuine chance of winning it.

Chairman Graham will have the tv primed and ready for the two matches on Saturday (February 2) - Scotland v Italy at 2.45pm followed by the game of the day, champions Ireland v England, at 4.45pm. And there's a promise of "games and prizes" to help things along.

Throughout the tournament - which runs until mid-March - the Saturday games will all be live in the clubhouse so come and create a special atmosphere and enjoy top flight sport either before or after your hockey matches.

Some of the Saturday highlights to look out for are Scotland v Ireland (February 9), Wales v England (February 23), Scotland v Wales (March 9) and finally 'super Saturday' on March 16, when the title may will be decided in three back-to-back games - Italy v France, Wales v Ireland and England v Scotland.

And don't forget the next big social event at the clubhouse on Saturday February 9 - the ever popular Race Night sponsored by EweMove. For full details of the event visit
