Sign up for the men's summer league hockey

By Shaun Pimley

Brighton captains wanted for Thursday night fun and games in May and June

A message from Ed Bending regarding the men's summer league 2019:

"We will once again be running the men's summer league this year and it will be happening on Thursday evenings for all those who want to play hockey, go for a drink and don’t mind heading into work hungover on Fridays!

"We are looking to start the league on Thursday May 9 and it will run for at least seven weeks but will depend on how many teams are recruited. Currently we are recruiting teams and have had good responses from other clubs but we want to make sure that we have representation from Brighton too.

"So far I know James Jephcott will be running his normal team, the Warriors, but we are also looking for other captains to represent the Brighton sides.

"If you are interested in running a team this year the entrance fee is £275 and this will need to be paid upfront to secure your place in the league. This will work out for a team of 11 players at under £5 per person per game."
