Congratulations to BHHC's leading scorer on more recognition

For the second year running Brighton and Hove's master marksman Joe Naughalty has been voted into the Men's Hockey League Conference East team of the season.

Welsh international Joe is the only BHHC player in the select XI, after another prolific campaign which brought him 16 goals in the national league. Last year, his 25 goals also brought him the MHL Conference East player of the season accolade.

Champions Old Georgians unsurprisingly have four players in the XI while Oxted and Teddington provide two apiece. Dan Shingles, of Old Georgians, has been voted player of the season while his teammate, another ex-GB international James Tindall, finished top goalscorer with 25.

Congratulations to Joe, whose efforts helped BHHC to a place in the top six in the Conference East, which guarantees the club a place in the new national league Division One next season.
