This year, the club's popular 'Curry Night' is being put on for both the men's and women's sections and will be held at the clubhouse on Saturday November 24 from 6.30pm - the perfect way to warm up after a chilly afternoon's hockey.

On the tasty menu cooked by the lovely Jenny will be a chicken curry and a vegetarian curry and all the trimmings will be available, from naan bread to poppadoms and more. Those who have attended in the past know that the generous servings always go down well.

The cost is £10 and is payable a week before the curry night so that Graham and Jenny know the numbers to cater for. To book your place please let your team captain know and pay them the £10 no later than after your game on Saturday November 17.

Another feature of the evening will again be karaoke. We know a number of members who fancy themselves as singers but Graham can be the judge of that on the night.

And if your game is early enough on the day you might want to take advantage of the clubhouse’s newly upgraded Sky tv package - rugby fans can enjoy England v Australia that afternoon.
