Print newspaper on hockey is back and available in the clubhouse this weekend

Just in time for the end of the season, The Hockey Paper has returned in print form after two years away and free copies will be in the clubhouse this weekend for BHHC members to pick up and take away.

The Hockey Paper's editor, Rod Gilmour - who lives in Sussex - says he is keen to boost the awareness of hockey to give it the attention it both needs and deserves on a national level. The Hockey Paper comes out fortnightly, costs £3 and is available via subscription in print form or online.

Rod describes The Hockey Paper as "a comprehensive product featuring the international game, the domestic scene, Masters, more regional focus, umpires, coaching and juniors." And with next season's leagues restructuring in mind, the paper will redesign its league tables presentation for 2019-20.

This latest issue features interviews with the new Great Britain's women's coach Mark Hager and GB international Emily Defroand, a look at whether the new Pro League will prove a success, a report from the national schools finals, a round up from the regions and more in its 32 tabloid pages.

Please give it a try and see what you think, says Rod. Details of subscriptions are included in the paper.
