Deaf friendly hockey starts at Blatchington on Tuesday night

Award-winning coach Wendy Russell leads BHHC hockey initiative for children with hearing difficulties

Brighton and Hove Hockey Club's deaf friendly hockey sessions start again on Tuesday (October 9) from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Blatchington Mill School under the direction of award-winning coach Wendy Russell.

The sessions are open to children under 16 and their hearing siblings and friends and all attending will take part in fun, skills-based activities and mini-games led by a deaf coach and players will develop the fundamentals of hockey including agility, balance and co-ordination. All coaches have attended a deaf friend awareness course.
