Middleton & Bognor 2-11 Men's Veterans XI
Adrian Adams had yet another goalfest as the Vetrans notched up their biggest victory in recent history against a weakened M&B Team.
When the ball was moved quickly, especially down the right, goal-scoring opportunities were generally forthcoming. In fact, such was the plethora of chances created that most of the defence wanted a slice of the action.
Two lapses of concentration resulted in careless goals being conceded but given the oppostion this was forgiveable. Next week's task against Reigate will be much more demanding.
For the record the goals were scored by Adrian Adams (5), Rob Scrivens (2) and one each for David Martin, Tim Ireland, Cameron Heath (defender) and Steve Tinson.
Special mention to umpire Jolyon who showed a much more positive approach following his recent course.
