Southwick 1's 2-3 Men's 3rd XI
A tough proposition against local rivals faced Brighton as they made the short trip to portslade to face Southwick 1's. Looking forward to the challenge Brighton started brightly moving the ball around, denying the opposition a chance to play. Brighton began to dominate the game and for the majority looked the better team.
In the end it was goals from Matt Banister and a superb penalty flick save in the dying moments of the game by Hehir that gave Brighton the 3 points and denying Southwick a share of the points.
