3XI Sussex Cup 2nd Round Vs Worthing 3's
Brighton rocked up to the 2nd round of the Sussex 3XI Cup confident after their win in the 1st round the previous week. It showed as Brighton attacked Worthing from the start. Having taken the lead with some deft touches from the new leaner meaner slim line Bondi, Brighton looked to be in control of their destiny. Goals from Davros helped to push the score along. It wasn’t till the second half when Worthing got back into the game that for the first time Brighton looked to be losing control of the game as Worthing brought the scores to within one goal. However Brighton re-grouped and composed themselves to score three goals in the last 10 minutes to assure themselves of the win and a place in the semi-finals.
