The beginning - 14th March 2009
7.50 am Wake up
8.02 am going to get ready for work
8.26 am its' a Saturday, stay in bed
8.36 am Remenber got hockey
9.00 am "Text Message" from coach Luke Williams "Big game , lads, and ...."
some time later........... everybodys on time and ready to play
Chapter1 - "warm up"
- was good,
Chapter 2 - 1st Half
It seemd like a long time ago, the opp where in red and white ? and we score 2 amazing goal. one from Luke and then Olly, We played well as a team, closing down and making tackles ,.. so right Kenny and Ross running down the wings, in and out. Jon 2 having an amazing game at right back/mid/forward, getting into the opps D, and having a reverse stick shot saved by the keeper...Simon was playing up front having a super drag flick saved by the keeper....also we gave some shot parctise for Pete, great saves pete.
Chapter 3 - Half Time
This is the most fun time of the game, everyone sits down and Luke tells us a story, not a very long story, but a story all the same...then other people jump in and make no sense
Luke - Score 3 goal , we understood and did that ( please see chapter 4)
Alan - something about hitting a ball to your team and not opp
Daniel H - bla bla bla, hands moving about
Daniel H - he was oddly quite
Chapter 4 - 2nd Half
Right, after the little story, we got right back into the game, having lovely 1 2's down the line, Alex C made a great pass to the right mid, playing the ball into the D, fo an amazing shot from Olly from top of the D. Dan H play a fantastic game ( well one of them most have) Jamie playing havoc with the opp defence, creating space, for the Left Back to have a little stroll in the Opps D ( this resulted in him running all the back as we lost the ball, never mind next time). I think some player from the opp had to leave the pitch, becasue there where bad ( that might have been sunday game) . This resulted in a P flick, as Olly was taken down in the D (booo ) ..... the crowd was quite and ooohhhhhhhhhh, yeah he whom can't be name missed and it wasn't ALAN McG that MISSED.....( just to let you know I would have scored )...after this point, dan H ( the tall one) fell over, Luke Williams usally really nice to everyone, SHOUTED at old man dan to get of the pitch, i was shock i was.... as Dan H went off he ofter encouragement to his fellow players. with simon taking the pivot roll @ centre back. at this point "whom most not be named" decided to have a rest also, but to put the Dan H back on the pitch. also Olly score another 2 goals...
so the score was 1-0 in the end
Everybody was happy @ the end, maybe because of the great game of hockey or Super J' being top of the league or the smell of spring was in the air...
