Eastbourne 3-1 Ladies' 2nd XI
An early start but at least we all arrived at Saffrons on time! Another tough game following on from last week but a better scoreline. The pitch was very slow and this did not help us - we were just not quick enough at releasing the ball. Eastbourne benefitted from this and used it to their advantage. Looking forward to the return match where the score should be closer.
On a positive note we had fantastic Chocolate cake in celebration of Sophie's Birthday (courtesy of Pippa - thanks!!). Also another Birthday - Happy 30th to Jo Smith!
