East Grinstead 3s 2-1 Ladies' 5th XI
Well, we battled hard (again) but unfortunately lost :(
Every week on the pitch I claim we don't deserve to lose, but every week I mean it! Everyone, without exception, worked incredibly hard (once they'd arrived.....) and, as ever, we were a team who tried out best.
Despite nerves about numbers at the beginning and taking a few minutes to settle into the game it was good fun with only one 'talking to' and one carding from the ref (Nikki Thomas, you naughty lady!!). Quite shocking for such politely spoken angels like us eh?
Well played every one and three cheers to all of us for fighting on and not losing our sense of humour :D
