Burgess Hill 1s - CUP!!! 2-3 Ladies' 2nd XI
A fantastic display from all of the team. A new look 2s gave Burgess Hill a good run around and the score does not demonstrate how well we played together - some of us playing in the team for the first time - a real team effort.
Great goals from Jo (2) and Tracey and some great saves from Sophie resulted in the final score. Georgia did well to win a Penalty flick (the Goalie stood on the ball preventing her from scoring!!) - unfortunatly Rachel was not able to convert - a pity as she had shown in training she definitely was able to put the ball in the goal.
Thanks to everyone who played - next round is Eastbourne 1s - a real challenge!
