Holcombe 3a's 3-5 Men's 3rd XI

A vastly improved performance from the previous week (lets face it, it couldn't have been any worse) and a welcome back to Grimsey and Doc for this usually tough game against Holcombe.
However, they arrived with what seemed to be a weakened squad - one or two of the usual faces hadn't made it down to the coast - shame. Brighton, on the other hand had a reasonably strong squad and used that to their advantage.
Brighton were the better team on the day with the exception of a few dodgy goalkeeping and other defensive errors which handed Holcombe a couple of goals.
Perhaps this game would be the turning point for Brighton's inconsistent season so far...
