Canterbury 4's 2-6 Men's 3rd XI

The Three's were enjoying a bit of a carnival atmosphere having watched the 1's play some great hockey and safe in the knowledge that lowly Canterbury only had 10 players. Additionally we were fielding a very strong side, buoyed by the return of Mr Grimes and guests Luke from the 2's, Psycho in goal and the legend that is "C".
So off to a great start 1 - 0 down! That wasn't meant to happen. No problem though the mighty 3's found their rhythm and passed the ball round very confidently.
Beglin hat trick in the first half (all open play) meant we were in command and never looked in trouble. The silver seal did his usual 'kiddie touching' and was duly carded.
Two goals from Luke in the second half and a further from Beglin wrapped up an acceptable show. It's a long way back to Canterbury after that showing - at least there was some space to stretch out in one of the cars.
