Spencer 4-4 Men's 1st XI

Brighton came into the game looking for their first points of the season following a tough away game against Ashford. They started well with two brilliantly taken goals by Stuart Dunbar. However, Brighton then relaxed and gave the opposition time and space to play. They were punished for some poor marking and sloppy defence with two soft goals.
After the break Brighton again started well, with a quick goal by Jamie. The team was playing well and moving the ball nicely. The game was turned again with a controversial penalty flick going to Spencer. This was followed by a good break away goal to make the score 3-4.
Brighton then showed that they have a strong character and equalised soon after. After a number of chances the game finished a draw.
The first points for Brighton, although we could easily have had more.
